aperture crashes with "own" book-formats

hi there

i'm trying to set up a new book-format in aperture 3.6 / yosemite 10.10

somehow, aperture crashes every time i activate the new format...

any help on this? it worked fine for years now - but updating to yosemite seems to have ruined this feature...?
